The easing of lockdown measures has allowed us to open the Charles Dickens’ Birthplace Museum for a an initial run of private bookings. The museum is compact, with areas where it isn’t possible for visitors to keep two metres apart. As such, these private bookings will only be available to members of one household or social ‘bubble’. Please bear this in mind when making a booking. Groups must be of 6 or fewer.
Visitors will be able to book a one-hour slot at the following times:
Private bookings will run on 18 and 19 September, plus 9 – 11 October.
Normal admission charges will apply for all visitors, but there will be no additional cost for the private booking service.
Visitors to the museum at this time will be given laminated cards with details about each room and all the essential information. You can also look out for QR codes, which will direct you to more information on this website.
